Laura Savage is a Chicago-based actress, singer, dancer and gymnast. A true woman of the new millennium, Laura is equally at home as a strong, independent gal and as a flashback to the forties. Not to be type cast, Laura's intelligence, creativity, talent, and love of character allow her to delve into unexpected roles with solid results. She was nominated for 2013 Non Equity Jeff Awards for Best Actress in a Musical for her accomplished performance of Percy in The Spitfire Grill (BoHo Theatre). Laura was also nominated two consecutive years by Broadway World for Best Actress in a Non-equity Musical for The Spitfire Grill and Hope in Urinetown (Circle Theatre.) These diverse performances showcased her voice as well as her dramatic and comedic strengths. As for dancing, Laura has been the associate choreographer, dance captain, and featured teenage ingenues in Rachel Rockwell's productions of The Music Man (Zaneeta Shinn) and Hello, Dolly! (Ermengarde).
